Hi Magda,
Very difficult to take such pictures...I love the mood..and desaturated colours...original and sweet like snow...The two people in the back ground disturb me

@aubry: Hi Marc! Thank you for your comment. I do appreciate any criticism and ideas on how to improve my photography.... :)
Yes, I wish those two people weren’t there and I tried to figure out how to get "rid" of them but I am not good in Photoshop to be able to fix that, not yet at least.... :(

Eleftheria! from Athens, Greece

Nice and happy picture!

i agree. is rather difficult to capture this kind of picture. if the the two person in the background weren't ore were more out of focuse would have been an exceptional photo. anyway, i like it. congrats

@aesh: Thank you! I will try to retake another one of those taking all that into consideration..... Thank you for the valuable comment! :)

Mithun from India

Nice photo Magda..The curiosity and excitement on the kids' face well framed :) Simply loved this image..

4 Dec 2008 2:40pm

@Mithun: They are looking into a big glass cube filled with snow-like sculptures and blowing around snow - pretty and very fascinating to the little ones! :) A lot of great photo potential but with so many people walking around rather hard to do... (grin)

I'm so glad to see this image. It dawned on me that people celebrate the various Holidays in so many different ways, that I wanted to offer a Challenge. Here it is:

Am3 (INTER-FAITH) HOLIDAY CHALLENGE: Photograph something archetypal in your world that shows your Holiday season as it is celebrated (Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or ???). Post it on January 1st, 2009!

I'd love for you to post a photo of yours on New Year's Day. In the meantime, I always enjoy the beauty and joy you share. Happy Holidays!

PS: I just learned about Dimitrios' Challenge about a half-hour ago, and have added him to my comments area. It's good to see that you know about that too!
