Does anyone recognize these berries? They grow on a tree that has beautiful white flowers in the spring....

what a wonderful picture. The basket itself and the positioning of it and the berries at the edge give the impression that it's moving.

Wonderful composition light and colours...I have no idea what those berries are...are they edible do you think? They look like lychees: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lychee what do you think?

@Elora: Thank you Elora! :) They do look like lychees don't they. They're about 1/3 the size though, and soft, not hard like a lychee.

@Roman: Thank you Roman. I usually use ISO400 so 320 seems low to me ;) It was late in the day, I had just minutes left of sunshine

@marc battault: Thank you Marc. They sure look like lychees but lychees won't grow here and these fruits are much smaller and softer than lychees.
