@Onlymehdi: Thank you @Arantza: Thank you @Yvonne Simons: Thank you Yvonne! Mathilde Collot from Fontainebleau, FranceC'est joli et tendre! L’ours donne une grande force à l'image! Et cette antinomie entre le sujet et le traitement est très créatif!! 21 Sep 2009 6:01am @Mathilde Collot: Thank you @Dimitrios: Thank you Dimitrios Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandAnd best friends I guess! Wonderful picture and processing! 21 Sep 2009 12:48pm @Dipti: Thank you so much Roman from Thunder Bay, CanadaGreat job Madzia, love the composition here and that feel of an old photograph. The only thing I have.... hm... those blown highlights in the shirts are somewhat distracting. Sometimes it might work when imitating that old photography style and feel (and I guess it does work here) but still, digital is so different than paper. On paper, even in the blown highlights, you still get that film grain, in digital, it is just a white blotch that starts and ends very abruptly without any smooth gradation. Bring back the details in the shirts somewhat (if you shot in RAW, they still should be there) and you have a composition worth hanging on the wall. cheers 21 Sep 2009 1:00pm @Roman: Thank you Roman! :) The original photo is actually underexposed so I have all the detail in my RAW file - I just have to figure out how to brighten up the photo without blowing up the whites ;) Also, the texture I added at the very end made the photograph even brighter.... hmmmm I should try to apply the texture first then play with the contrast. ;) Thank you for your valuable comment. dj.tigersprout from New York City, United Statesooh -- just LOVE this! so touching!!! as always, VERY beautiful work Magda!! bravo!!! 21 Sep 2009 3:46pm @dj.tigersprout: Thank you so much! :) MARIANA from Waterloo, CanadaSuch a lovely moment captured here .
