Water Fun (6)Posted by Magda (Vancouver, Canada) on 27 July 2009 in Sport & Recreation. We had a wonderful trip to Kamloops, BC. Here are a few "snap shots" that captured some of the fun. I can't explain why my latest two posts here on AM3 aren't as sharp as the original photographs... :( They look "fuzzy" to me. Thank you so much for taking your time to visit and comment on my photographs. It is greatly appreciated! :)

Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomNice sequence, very atmospheric. The images look fine to me; of course I can't compare them to the originals. I've heard people saying something about how the images are compressed for viewing on the site...? 27 Jul 2009 5:47am @Daryl Johnson: Thank you Daryl. I think you are right. Bill Jennings from (Bay Area Northern Calif), United StatesTruly "FETCH" - you can see the action about to play itself out. Well captured. 27 Jul 2009 7:21am @Bill Jennings: Thank you Bill Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceBeautiful scenes... for the sharpness, it's normal if you are with free version and not A+ member... a good example with my lichens here on Aminus 27 Jul 2009 9:47am @Francesc B.: Thank you! I see the difference! It's frustrating to have your photo look out of focus when in fact it is very clear. Thank you for explaining it to me. @Tracy: :)) Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, CanadaA beautiful capture Magda! They look like they are enjoying summer to the hilt!!! ;-)) 27 Jul 2009 12:04pm @Eric Cousineau: They sure do :)) Thank you for stopping by Eric @LESLIE: :) @john4jack: Thank you Jack marc battault from clermont ferrand, Franceexcellent framing, magda, two nice photos! 27 Jul 2009 4:32pm @marc battault: Thank you so much @Vanilla Wine: Thank you Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United States"Throw, Tara, throw it far out!" What a great scene and the two images are perfect together. They look fine to me also, but of course not like the full-size image would look on your computer. As for the compression, the largest image AM3 uses is 800 pixels in width, from what I have learned. The height can vary widely, as I'm sure you've seen in posted images. I always resize mine to 800 x __whatever__, but I also do not have a paid account. 27 Jul 2009 6:10pm @Judy: Thank you Judy. I didn't know about the sizes. I try to post the largest possible so I'm sure they are larger than 800x. I will remember that next time I post ;) Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesPS: I KNEW I'd read about the sizing, so searched for 'image size' on the support forum. Here is a quote: * shuva (Admin) * CommentTimeApr 27th 2008 edited "I just wanted to add here that 3000X3000 or 2 MB is the maximum of what can be uploaded and not what is actually stored at the server or displayed after the upload. Am3 will resize these images to 800px width and 600px width for display. The following two FAQs explains this more..." 27 Jul 2009 6:31pm @Judy: Good to know! Thank you so much Judy! Bill from Belton, United StatesEveryone, including the dog had a ball it would seem. Great images as always Magda! Glad you had a holiday! 28 Jul 2009 2:06am @Bill: Thank you Bill!
