Tara (1)Posted by Magda (Vancouver, Canada) on 14 May 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. I will post the same image in b&w tomorrow. I can't decide which I like better. The colour, which is so vibrant, or the b&w, which gives a bit of a retro look. I hope to get some feedback from my friends at AM3. :) Thank you so much for taking your time to visit and comment on my photographs. It is greatly appreciated! :)

Colour seems to be a good election... Let me see it in b&w tomorrow.... 14 May 2009 11:21am @Eduardo: Thank you so much Eduardo! And you're welcome - it was my pleasure! :) Marion from Cincinnati, United StatesMagda, once again I am rendered speechless by the perfectness (is that a word?) of your shot. The colors, the lighting, the model are all in perfect harmony (just as Eduardo has said). WOW! I can't wait to see it in b&w. Now, did you edit this with corel or adobe sw? 14 May 2009 11:39am @Marion: Thank you so much Marion! :) I didn't do much to this photograph..... Just a little adjustment in Corel - nothing major. In tomorrow's b&w image I adjusted the brightens and contrast a bit more to bring up the character. :) Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, CanadaLove the whole picture; a stunning subject beautifully posed. If there were one comment I would suggest is that the lighting is a little harsh off the cap and forehead. ;-) 14 May 2009 11:53am @Eric Cousineau: Thank you Eric. I don't like the "glowing" hat either but with the light I had the pure white hat was glowing no matter what I did. I tried metering off of the hat but then her face was underexposed so I just left it at that. Next time I will try to avoid white altogether which in sunny conditions is very hard to photograph. Lesson learned! :) Thank you for your valuable comment - really appreciate it!!! marc battault from clermont ferrand, Francewonderful portrait ! she's lovely ! congratulations ,magda ! 14 May 2009 3:16pm @marc battault: Thank you Marc Ram from Bangalore, IndiaGreat shot.....
