A Bird in the Hand....Posted by Magda (Vancouver, Canada) on 20 January 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. This red-breasted nuthatch was determined to get her share of the seeds before the chickadees ate it all. Thank you so much for taking your time to visit and comment on my photographs. It is greatly appreciated! :)

Chickadees, nuthatches, and some jays are all quite bold and can usually be persuaded to eat from you hand in time. Sparrows, finches, cardinals, woodpeckers and flickers will usually come to your feeder if you offer sunflower seeds or suet. What are you offering, and what type of birds are you trying to attract? manel from Girona, SpainMuy buen y dificil de conseguir. Ayer comenzó la secuencia... ¿ continua ?. 20 Jan 2009 7:30pm Bill from Belton, United StatesSuch a nice photo Magda!
