EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United KingdomLovely photographs, Magda. The second one is simply wondeful. There is something about it, the abstract appearance of facial features behind the ice, that really appeals. It's a superb portrait that I think should be enlarged and printed, it has a charm and character and that certain WOW factor. Superb 11 Jan 2009 6:30am @EYES WIDE SHUT: Thank you so very much! You are too kind! :) Mithun from Bangalore, IndiaThe second picture was too good!! Excellent title :) 11 Jan 2009 7:20am @Mithun: Great to hear that! Thank you! @Dimitrios: :) Thank you! Marion from Liberty Township, United StatesWow, that is one of the coolest ice-pieces I have seen. Great capture - it looks almost like some sort of thin veil. Fantastic! :) 11 Jan 2009 1:10pm @Marion: Thank you! I thought so too! She was picking many pieces like this one from a duck pond and "selling" them for a dollar.... ;) We had a wonderful time on our walk. bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaHappy New Year Magda! 11 Jan 2009 2:46pm @bluechameleon: Great to hear from you! Thank you for the kind comment! :) Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesExcellent. I love the idea of shooting through the sheet of ice. Really nice authentic effect...without photoshop trickery! 11 Jan 2009 5:19pm @Laurie: Thank you! It was Tara's idea (I guess looking through it was very interesting) so I guess she should get part of the credit! (grin) Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesI like seeing both photos - first that Tara picked it up in one piece and second that she's showing it off up close! 11 Jan 2009 6:51pm @Judy: Thank you Judy! I wanted to show a little "story" how Tara came up with this neat piece of ice..... ;) Alivia from Francesuperbes portraits d'enfants, j'en aime le regard clair et lumineux, quelle belle lumière. 11 Jan 2009 6:58pm @Alivia: Thank you! :) Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaGreat shots, and nice arrangment. It's been pouring rain the past few days..... Tracey from White Hall, United StatesGreat pair of pics here! Love the red against the white. I am so jealous of your snow!
