Backyard Aliens

Posted by Magda (Vancouver, Canada) on 25 September 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I thought it's time to have a little break from my girls! ;) Here is something very simple and "boring".... I haven't had time to get creative lately and/or had the time to pull something from my "old" files so this will have to be for now..... :)

Thank you so much for taking your time to visit and comment on my photographs. It is greatly appreciated! :)

I like this. Great composition, and i like the texture in the dead flower heads. Has a nice 'moody' atmosphere which suits the decay. Lovely.

Definitely NOT boring. I love these flowers even as they fade away for the year. What program do you use for B&W conversion? I have yet to be satisfied with any of the images I've tried to convert.

@willow: Willow, I use Corel most of the time. I have Lightroom but haven't had much time playing with it..... I've seen some B&W converions around here that blow me away so I just keep trying. :)
