Thank you all for the wonderful comments. My both girls were fighting over this butterfly which wasn't shy at all. They both had many chances of holding it before it flew away. :)

Call me a 5 year old but I have just had 5 butterflies hatch in a butterfly house that I have and they are Painted Ladies too... the way I got them to sit on my hand was to put sugar water on my hand and they drank away... it was fun and amazing...
